Review of the Insure4Boats, Boat Insurance:

No hassle insurance for boats

Having made inquiries throughout the boat insurance market, either insurers could not insure a narrowboat despite advertising that they could or they offered sky high premiums. Insure4boats offered me comprehensive insurance for the value of my boat as well as some contents cover, etc. without limitation on normal narrowboating activities, for a premium that was in line with home insurance given the normal risks associated with a home being afloat. I haven't needed to file a claim, but the policy was affordable and seems to cover all my needs associated with owning and using the narrowboat. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020
