Unreasonable charge for no going ahead with a policy

I purchased insurance from this company via one of the comparison sites. When they called to go through everything we discovered that one detail had to change. This doubled the cost of the insurance so I decided not to go ahead. They then charged me £55 to cancel it. I asked them to waive this charge as I regard it as unreasonable, given that I did not go ahead with the policy. They could have done, easily but they refused, repeatedly. I will never use them again and I recommend you don't. If they are this unreasonable when it comes to not-going-ahead-with-a-policy, what else are they unreasonable about? Avoid.
