Friendly and helpful

We approached our local branch of Newbury Building Society in Alton as we were looking to place an amount of cash where we could have face to face information as to the best options for investing these moneys. Courtney was most helpful when we met her to arrange new accounts. The interest rates on the instant access accounts is reasonably although not the best on the market but we felt it worthwhile just to have local access in these days of on line scams! Opening new savings account

I called into the building society to update my exiting account book and transfer some money into it when I was made aware that the account I had as new member a few year ago allowed me to open a new account with a slightly better interest rate, it does have a limit of how much you can save a year. The staff were so helpful, it’s really nice to get excellent customer service. Reviewed on: 1st July 2022
