Well done Newbury

Newbury provided an excellent service for my family. Just one improvement could be made - when redeeming an existing mortgage for me and then sending me the residuum of the loan, I expected to see a final statement stating total sum offered, fees charged (none = good!) and amount sent to existing mortgage company so I had a financial audit trail. This was sent on request, but it should be standard practice. In my case, the bank payment for my old mortgage came out at the same time as Newbury repaid that mortgage so there was one month's discrepancy - now sorted once I understood the problem.
