A very helpful company

Our current mortgage interest rate was coming to an end and when I rang and spoke to an advisor she was able to offer us a new deal which was even better than our existing one. Reviewed on: 8th October 2021

A pleasantand easy introductiontosavingwith Newbury Building Society

I had some pension lump sum money doing nothing and, on the recommendation of a friend, decided to see what Newbury Building Society could do for me. After all, their branch in Thatcham is very convenient for me and I liked the thought of saving with a mutual society. I walked in without an appointment, was seen straight away and within 20 minutes walked out with two savings accounts giving me the optimal return on the sum of money I had deposited. I am very pleased I chose this course of action and was delighted with the service I received - face to face and very "old school". Whilst I was there, there was a steady stream of people depositing or withdrawing and the cashier knew them all personally. Reviewed on: 8th October 2021

Fabulous face to face experience

Personal, professional - perfect!

We had unexpectedly come into some money and were unsure of how best to save/invest it. A quick chat with Paula at Hungerford branch was great! She knew all about the products and what Newbury Building Society could offer us. I felt safe in her hands and no question was too trivial or silly... I would recommend that everyone go and have a face-to-face chat to make sure their monies are in the best place for their circumstances - whether you are currently a member or not.
