Inspiring financial intelligence

GoHenry uses simple visuals and common sense approaches to enable children to develop financial maturity independently within the abilities of their age group, whilst allowing parents to provide safety nets to support their money management. They feel ‘grown up’ using bank cards, whilst safe by being able to adjust accessibility and spending allowances. Within our household, it has also encouraged an entrepreneurial spirit, looking for ways to earn extra income- effectively a simple introduction to future working world. This approach is more than parental explanations and savings books of my childhood, the power is in the ability for the child to safely learn lessons ‘independently’, one of the most effective ways to make it stick. It gives ‘real world’ exposure to money management & and encourages responsibility and sense of priorities. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021
