Transparent spending at my fingertips.

I have always found money - and particularly the managing of it very difficult. As an autistic adult albeit high functioning, need always trumped availability and I found it very hard to mentally compartmentalise my spending habits or to budget in any way at all. Finding Starling Bank has changed that in literally one swipe of my phone ! I now have all my money divided literally into visual spending pots (SO necessary to the way my brain operates) and for the first time in all my years as a busy mother of 5 children who usually just scraped by month by month with no clear spending plan, I am now starting to save. Each day I can see at a glance just how much I have spent both daily and monthly and most of all you, Starling have given me a sense of control in my spending. For the first time I actually think about need in my spending as I do not want to deplenish my saving pots (!) (again an autistic thing - it feels like a backward step to take money out of a pot and now it's visual thing it makes so much sense! Thank you.) In a sentence I now take delight rather than the old despair when summoning up courage to look at my bank account! Wonderful Reviewed on: 18th February 2021
