Simplistic, limited barriers and condensed corporate language...

I recently opened an account online and noticed the wording was not the usual "corporate" language which you would expect from a bank. The experience was more aligned to a retail platform, with quick and simple stages. Part way through I actually abandended my application, due to personal I.D. and not being local to a store, which I'll be honest, I almost forgot to come back to! Anyways, I received an email with an update and a time frame to process. (My passport had now been returned). I was directed back to where I had left off, saving time inputting again. My account was opened within minuets and I had the mobile app, together with my online log-in details, all set up shortly after. I was then asked what my preference was for a card / pin, which I choose for postal and they arrived within days... All the way through, I was given the option of how I wanted to bank, the information was clear and hassle free! Thanks Metro! Reviewed on: 9th March 2021
