Straightforward savings!

Love this app! Have seen it grow over the years and finally decided to join! Absolutely thrilled to use the LISA savings function and the easy x-day savers, which were such lifesavers with their competitive interest rates while the market was down. Customer service is top-notch; the staff are informative, helpful and exceptionally friendly! I like how some will even use gifs! There's an abundance of other features and learning tools too. Absolutely LOATHE the app

It is OK to visit the branch - if you fancy waiting an age, not nearly as fast as Barclays when milling about in the queue. The app is horrendous - all it does is lead you back to external webpage links to their website rather than providing the info in-app before asking you to log back into the app once you close the page. The login process is a NIGHTMARE! It hardly ever recognizes my login - several others have experienced the same issue too but it is not convenient to go to the bank to unlock your account EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! The savings aren't amazing but I like that other countries use this bank, i.e. China, which makes the usage a little more smooth. Reviewed on: 17th March 2021

Does what it says on the tin

You are required to have a log in pin of 5-digits and you can be sure that it is a secure connection as they have a secret message on the login - I feel confident using the app knowing I'm on a safe and secured page! I don't have much complaints about Barclays as a bank except that they don't really tell YOU how to make the best out of their services. Of course they have the information out there for you but you have to first find it - with the exception of the savings quiz. I really liked the BlueRewards scheme, but they decreased the rewards in recent times, as well as a drastic decrease in the savings rate for the blue rewards saver last autumn dropping to 0.01%! Sometimes it is just better to call the customer service line itself as some of the staff on the live chat do not seem knowledgeable about the app functions or usually have some kind of misunderstanding about the query. Best savings rate, service, and UI!

I've used this app for about 1yr now and raked up a 346 day streak in automatic savings since joining! It's amazing - the AI literally calculates a price to put away without you feeling the burn and you can even see the increments on a graph! The user interface is easy to navigate, clear, informative AND HAS DARK MODE TOO!! This service can only go upwards with the various updates and additional features rolled out! The staff in the live chats are so helpful , responsive, informative, and friendly - I honestly prefer their services to traditional apps and their live chat options... I have recommended them to my friends and family for them to jump onto the savings train! I have nothing but high praises to sing of this amazing banking service! Reviewed on: 17th March 2021
