A better savings offer than most.

I opened a Welcome to Newbury savings account because, although limited to a modest £3000, it pays a better interest rate than the great majority of instant access accounts. The experience was straightforward, the only slight surprise being that I received an actual passbook for the account, whereas my wife, who opened the same account last year, was not sent a passbook at all.
