Teaching children about money.

I got my eldest son one of these to teach him the value of money, saving and working for what you want. He got it as a birthday present so it initially had a lot of money on it. He however blew it in no time. When he wanted to go to the cinema etc, I said no. Quite simply I wasn’t giving him the money anymore. This has made him much more responsible and has taught him to save. It gives me some peace of mind for the future when he goes to university and out in to the real world. Hopefully I have taught him that getting in to debt and blowing your money is not the correct way. I will get one of these for sure for my other two children to teach them similar.
