Review of the NatWest, Natwest Rooster Money:

Fantastic

Rooster is an amazing way to introduce money management to even the youngest children. My children are 4, 5 and 7 and this app makes it easy for them to see how much money they have. My 5 and 7 year old are already thinking more carefully about how and when they spend what they have and are making decisions on their own as to whether they want something enough to use up all their spend money on it. Rooster was also a great way for my 7 year old to save up for the mp3 player he wanted. We don't tend to agree with doing chores for money, however, it this a great feature for them to earn a bit extra occasionally by doing a job such as sweeping the leaves in the garden or, when they are older, washing the cars. As they get older I will definitely be looking at getting them the card option. All in all a great App. I spent such a long time looking for banks that would allow very young children to have an account to no avail. With Rooster I have no immediate need to find one.
