£50 non-refundable cancellation

UPDATE - I have since been contacted and refunded. The customer service girl Linda was excellent. She said they are looking into this as a change for their systems. Took out a policy, needed to cancel, apparently somewhere nicely hidden in small print among all the 14 day cool off promises; it says that I would get charged a £50 non-refundable fee if I cancel (despite me doing the policy myself online, and cancelling within 2 hours.) Nicole B delighted in telling me that it says that I'd be charged. If you are stupid enough to take out insurance with these people, good luck! Reviewed on: 9th April 2021
