Highly recommended

Downloaded this app around 2019, just before lockdown in the UK and the amount of money I’ve saved it incredible!! I can’t stress how good this app is to use and how much money it saved me. Plum has helped me immensely in saving for our wedding, getting the wedding ring, and more importantly helping me during the cost of living crisis! A very impressive savings app!

Started using this app just before first lockdown in the uk. Wanted to see what it was like, as I had no experience whatsoever in stocks and investment. Plum made it very easy to understand by what was low risk and high risk. I put money that I could afford and by 2023 I made £8k in investments / stocks. Very impressed as this has helped me massively with paying for a wedding ring, paying for the wedding and easy enough to top up my current account with funds to keep up with the cost of living. Can’t believe how easy it is to use and manageable to adjust my spending habits towards it. Excellent customer service. Reviewed on: 27th January 2024

BEST. APP. EVER!!

I saw a few people posting about this app on Instagram during the last lockdown. I’ve been very good at saving money so I thought, “why do I need this app?” and “I bet it charges you a massive monthly fee?”. However, eventually coming out of lockdown, me & my now fiancé were looking at buying our first house, so I thought I’d download the app and see what it’s all about. There was some interesting features such as; rainy day funds, investments and what interested me the most at the time was the 52 week challenge. I downloaded this app around February 2021. With no investment knowledge whatsoever, I decided to take my chances with the investment side of the app. It was straight forward to use for a novice like me with easy understandable explanations. I invested in a few and hoped for the best. Within a few months, house bills coming out of no where, cost of living crisis peaking its head round the corner and gas & electric being cheeky, I had made £8k through investments, which I couldn’t believe and I didn’t even want to withdraw as I was scared! I’m a paramedic, so I have a financially secure job, but this app was helping every few months I need some spare cash. You can set Plum to round up purchases, you can set its brain to distribute money evenly to investments which I did, I increased the rainy days to maximum and I set the mood to eager (I’m very tempted to go beast mode, but maybe when the NHS gets a decent payrise I will)! This app is doing me wonders! I have since heavily invested in plum via Crowdcube, I have upgraded my membership and I was one of the first people to apply for the plum debit card. What’s even better, I’ve managed to buy an engagement ring, pay deposits for the wedding & pay bits off for the wedding all because of the investment side of the app. All this, I wouldn’t have been able to do if I didn’t download this app. It has helped me out massively. I have told many people about this app just because of how much money I made in the investment, yet they’re skeptical… jokes on them now! I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs help saving, such an easy app to use. I’m now in the process of hoping to save more money for the wedding (which is 5th may 2024 if anyone is interested) and save enough for another deposit for our next house! Saving like a mofo!
