Good For Children To Understand Value

I think In the world that we are living in where “Cash” is seldom used. My 3 children have their cards, 7yrs, 12yrs and 15yrs. It’s giving my youngest especially the value of money and having to work to make money. Shown her what she can get for her money ie. a £5 toy to a £50 toy. All my children birthday’s money, pocket money all goes on their cards so they can see how much things actually cost. Trying to teach a child value of coins is especially hard the now, but knowing when they go to the shop or online what they can buy with why they have, teaching them to save to get something better or more expensive. Teaching them sacrifice to get what they want. Ie not buying a £5 every week but waiting to have £40-£50 to buy something they actually want. Reviewed on: 14th April 2021
