Nothing in life is free

Besides teaching children the importance of saving money, the gohenry card/account's task manager is great as my 8 year old has realised money doesn't grow on trees or simply come out of a hole in the wall. It has to be deposited after being earned which is a key life skill which the sooner its learnt the better. Aswell as linking chores/task with payments, my kids think really hard before they spend their money as they realise how hard they've worked for it or how long they've saved for it. Because of our experience as a family using gohenry the demands from the children for us to purchase impulse wants has reduced and before they ask for something to be purchased they check the price themselves which is amazing.
