No clue on website as to where to post application caused problems

Wanted to open a Cash ISA. Branch only open morning so no good for me. Printed off form, completed and sent with cheque to Head Office (no clue on website where to send applications for new accounts). After a week of hearing nothing, phoned head office, was transferred to Andover branch, which was wrong branch. Only saving grace was lady in Andover branch who took ownership of my problem, phoned round your branches until she tracked my application down, and then phone dme back with an update that day. Great customer service. Passbook has now finally arrived but disappointed to see account not backdated to day it would have arrived at your head office (almost a week difference). Bit ungenerous in the circumstances Reviewed on: 16th April 2021
