Long-term user and very happy

I have been using Chip for several years since their early crowdfunding days. The app has improved significantly over the years, and I now really appreciate the auto-saving feature as a way to trickle money into savings and over to my ISA. Reviewed on: 11th February 2026

Great app for automatically building up savings

Chip is great for helping me save small amounts every few days, building up a savings pot without ever really noticing it. Even when interest rates were low, the auto-save feature was great as it kept moving small-ish amounts based on what I could afford (using its AI and an Open Banking link to my account) - but now interest rates are higher, and Chip is at the top of the table, and also because they've improved their back-end and are now paying real interest, it's an even better place to keep my savings. Simple, fuss-free banking

Banking as it should be. Excellent, easy-to-use app; modern features like instant spend notifications and card controls; simple switching process. No distractions in app, trying to upset to cards and other products. So happy with Starling! Reviewed on: 18th April 2021
