Review of the Avanti Travel Insurance, Travel insurance:

Efficient, competitive and fit for purpose

Having suffered a couple of serious medical episodes (no more detail, I don't want to put anyone off) I was quoted an absolutely horrendous premium for travel insurance by my (then) insurance provider. I rang around several firms with little variation but each and every one wanted chapter and verse on my condition and with many repeats as they ploughed through their 'script.' I then saw an Avanti advertisement and gave them a call. Within 15 minutes I had insurance cover for my medical issues, a lot cheaper than anyone else I contacted. The Avanti agent was polite, professional and even offered a discount to bring my premium down even more. Most importantly he LISTENED to my replies negating the need to delve deeper into conditions I did not have! I paid online and received my documents within minutes.
