Never apply for a mortgage with paragon! After taking the application fee of £299 they decide not to lend to you because they don't like the look of the building (nothing wrong with it) and keep your money.
If they decide not to lend and you comply with all their terms they should not be able to keep your money.
You have been warned - don't use Paragon!
