Reliably there when I needed it

Sheffield Credit Union is run by respectful, knowledgeable and really helpful staff, who helped me when I really needed it. Their friendly professionalism was second to none, advising and supporting me through the application process. I was so glad to be dealing with the friendly face of 'money things' rather than the cold anonymous global financial institutions. Reviewed on: 11th August 2023

There everyday when I want to save regularly and always there when I need support, advice and help. Sheffield Credit Union may not be the biggest organisation around but it’s years of experience are the inclusive foundations for Sheffielders taking control of their finances and living their best life. Friendly professional easy to access service that changes lives.

Sheffield credit union was there when I needed them. It was an urgent situation. My stairlift had broken down and the engineer said it was condemned. It needed replacing urgently as both my daughter and I are disabled and she had just had surgery on her foot, and was unable to weight bear. I contacted the credit union and provided them with all the information requested. They processed my loan application the following day and contacted me to confirm some details. Within an hour or so it was all organised and even though it was the height of the pandemic, and I was extremely anxious about it all, I was able to deal with the contract online and sort everything out. Within 10 days or less the stairlift was fitted. None of this would’ve happened without Sheffield credit union. They were helpful, encouraging, supportive and extremely professional. They are so approachable and understand how difficult life can be sometimes for people. I highly recommend them to anyone. Reviewed on: 9th June 2021
