Review of the Newbury Building Society, Mortgages:

Not professional

Applied for mortgage for shared ownership property. Newbury refused after doing credit check after finding an adverse payment history. Turns out it was a debt that was settled 2 years ago in full. Disappointed that they wouldn't accept the reasoning for a small debt I went to a proper bank and got one a mortgage agreed a week later. Mickey mouse building society, I do not recommend their services after this experience. Reviewed on: 12th June 2021
