Step change was there when I hit my lowest point ever my dla was changed over to pip and I lost two thirds of my income overnighhtwe also lost the majority of my wife's dla for the same reason a poor assessment system. But whatever the cause we were plunged into debt even though we where handling everything our debts and ill health in my case a condition that can kill me and my wife's health deteriorating Step change talked us through setting up a DMP helped set us a budget to live on and actively encouraged us to put in appeals against dwps decisions which we won and step change advised us to review our budget and become debt free earlier which we did and are now great full to them as the end is in reach Don't know what we would have done without them supporting us all the way Reviewed on: 23rd July 2021
