Doing more with your money

I have been a regular saver with Boom for a number of years through a SAYE scheme. What attracted me to this option, as opposed to using any other high street institution, is the clear aim of helping other people in my own community. With the growing obsession with Credit Rating, so many people through personal circumstances are prevented from accessing credit and may be forced or encouraged to access more expensive or less scrupulous forms of credit. While the principles of lending against deposits are the same for all regulated banks etc, the clearly articulated linkage between my modest deposits and the lending capacity this creates, makes me feel fully invested in Boom CU.
