I only had my puppy for one month and paid one insurance payment when my puppy became unwell He had to have surgery and an over night stay which was not cheap. I could not pay up front as it was so expensive. I lost sleep and was so worried. Luckily my vet said as i was with petplan they would claim it for me for a small admin fee, and within less than 1 week, my claim had been paid out to the vets and i had received my funds that i paid for the overnight stay. I cant tell you how much i would recommend one having pet insurance important is, but too have it with the best company is even better. Get pet insurance and make it pet plan.
