I was sinking in a sea of debt ,...

Before I chose to resolve my debts with Stepchange, I felt like I was sinking in a sea of debt. Also, people seem to have a problem with the word “debt” , it’s almost like you’ve committed a crime. However, it is not like that at all with Stepchange, you’re not single out, you don’t feel stigmatised, you’re just provided the help you need to straighten up your finances. It’s easy to get started , just a click away, it can all be done online. My anxiety has reduced so much around money since being with Stepchange. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

Step Change have been amazing

I had been with a debt management company & paying a management fee & PPI, when I became very ill I found that the PPI did not cover my particular illness & everything spiralled out of control for me.. I thought I would never find a way out but then I came across an advert for Step Change approaches them & they took on all the worries.. the relief I felt was immense & had helped my health recover too.. they are amazing with a non-judgemental caring approach to taking the stresses out of debt management with NO management fee!!
