Jeremy Beadle!

We had a bad experience towing up a steep hill in snow and ice - causing the 'van to jack-knife - and our beloved Hymer crashed into a tree - smashing the bedroom window and denting the side wall. From the moment the phone answered on the third ring, the customer service went way beyond faultless, the claims assessor arriving the next day and the repair workshop was sorted. Repeated kindly concerned phone calls from the Club service ensuring repairs were speedy and to our total satisfaction. Wow! This isn't how insurance is meant to be - surely we should have been delayed or conned somehow? Where was Jeremy Beadle! Sounds light hearted - but it was all a bit traumatic - the end result being that the service we received was incredibly good - and our holiday wasn't ruined. When they say they'll take care of you - they really mean it. Quite something in this day and age? Reviewed on: 9th August 2017
