After a difficult period in my life, I found myself unable to deal with debt I had incurred. I had many sleepless nights worrying about how I could get myself out of my mess. I was embarrassed & could not turn to my family for help. A work colleague just happen to ask me if I was OK, I opened up & he pointed me in the direction of Step change. I plucked up the courage to phone & my phone call was answered with an understanding gentle voice. After going through all my financial details & outgoings, which included all the little things we forget about. A manageable re payment plan was put in place for me, which this is reviewed every 12 months or sooner if needed. Step change has taught me to budget alongside paying off my debt. I am proud to say I will be debt free by Feb 2025. I also have the tools & knowledge to never get myself in this position again - all through Step Change. Reviewed on: 17th May 2024
