Dodgy

Have been a customer for a couple of years and changed vehicles from an old car to a fairly new one, but still only worth 6k. When I contacted them to make the policy change they said the cost increase was £400. This seemed rather odd, but I went with it as I didn’t have time to shop around. As it happened I did end up doing a quick compare the market quote and would you know it esure was one of the most competitive - and quoted at virtually the same price as my old policy - so £400 less! I contacted them and explained the situation and they said this is how the insurance industry works. I managed to renegotiate to the compare the market price but it took several attempts and 1 conversation I had with them was never kept on file - the individual concerned was completely useless and evasive. My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs as they will try and pull a fast one with you. I’d hate to think what would happen in the event of needing to make a claim.
