Wondeful People!

Due to mental health problems, I had been stuck doing jobs that paid little more than minimum wage for nearly 20 years, and had run up humongous credit card debts. Even though I hated my job, I carried on working for nearly three years after I claimed my State pension and started paying off my debts, but in the end I just couldn't cope anymore and lost my job. I was terrified I would end up homeless and living on the streets (aged 66) and really seriously contemplated suicide. Fortunately, a friend recommended StepChange and I honestly think they saved my life! Reviewed on: 1st August 2021
