A life saver; literally

With chronic health problems and encircling debt I was sinking slowly into very much dark place. Like most people I left it to the last moment to deal with the debt having deluded myself I had things under control. Having come clean about the dentist was my brother that suggested I contact Stepchange. I was very apprehensive thinking them to be either judgemental and aggressive, or profiting in some way from my debt; I couldn't have been more wrong! The staff were friendly and professional keen to help get things sorted out. I have never felt rushed or belittled and with internet access I still remain in control of my account but with the support and guidance by the staff at StepChange. They provide a broad umbrella from under which one can breath again, and explore available options in a professional and calming environment of reduced stress and anxiety. . They are always there to answer questions and explain anything one doesn't understand. Their website is very clear to understand as is ones personal debt management quite a miracle of many stats.
