Petplan paid up promptly when my cat had an accident but took three months before a rare illness was paid, unfortunately an adviser initially declined the claim but after complaining they apologised and accepted the claim should have been referred to their internal vet for consideration. Advisable to get the ultimate lifetime policy as vets fees are astronomical even for simple procedures. And as as soon as you get your pet, without delay.
