Updraft offered me much more favourable rates than other providers and has allowed me to break out of the trap of circular credit card debt. I was able to get a second loan too to further clear down my debt. Reviewed on: 28th February 2026

Quality and reassuring service every step of the way

You approach a company like step change because you are in trouble, and you need help. It is always a nerve wracking process. You are scared you will be judged or the person on the other end of the phone won't care. But the team at StepChange just put you at ease and make everything so easy. Their website and tools are so easy to use, and I now anytime someone tells me they have debt problems, "StepChange" is always the first thing to come out of my mouth.
