excellent bank and first class customer service on the phone and at the branches

I have had my current account with Halifax for about 10 years and would highly recommend them to anyone. They are always happy to help with any queries and have always answered my questions satisfactorily. I give them 10/10 in every way. Reviewed on: 9th September 2017

Review of the Direct Line, Car Insurance:

Direct Line - excellent

I have been with them for about 12 years and have never had to make a claim so far. I have my contents and car insurance with them. Whenever I have had queries with them, they always provide the answer I am looking for. My car insurance went up when I moved to a different area and I did call them and obtained a good explanation. Review of the Paragon Bank, Fixed Rate Savings Account:

definitely would not recommend this bank to anyone, poor customer service

i opened a savings account with Paragon Bank and then decided to close it as it was taking too long to open. I asked for the money to go back to my nominated account and was told it would take a few working days and waited a week and nothing happened. I called again and complained and the money went back to my account immediately. I would advise investing money in a well known bank rather than an unknown one or definitely read up about them before you open an account. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2017
