Good Value

I joined the Glasgow Credit Union many many years ago the check off system is easy as the saving collections are taken at source , it is extremely easy to set up and forget about it, the dividends are paid yearly so far I have had no complaints, last year due to Covid 19 to keep the financial integrity of the credit union no dividend was paid. I do not have a problem with that decision as it was put to the members at the AGM Reviewed on: 11th August 2021

Excellent personal service

I am a member of Glasgow Credit Union and have been for a number of years I had been turned down by a few other lenders for a mortgage probably because of my age or some obscure scoring system I approached GCU I received a quick appointment ( pre Covid19 ) I received a very in depth friendly discussion of my requirements and needs I discussed a few options of properties I had looked at what I could afford the repayments the type of mortgage product that would best suit me I had discussions about affordability of the mortgage, lifestyle questions , income , future income, outgoings , inflation and the size of mortgage I could afford and still be able to have a comfortable living, the staff knowledge was second to none and I have had a few interviews !
