Review of the Petplan, Pet insurance:

Absolutely magnificent.

Since my Weimaraner (now 11) was a puppy I have paid for the highest level of Petplan cover for him. He has been completely healthy for most of his life, but has unfortunately more recently suffered from two very serious and expensive conditions (a sarcoma and an autoimmune disorder, both of which had every chance of proving fatal) one after the other. Petplan's supportive communications and immediate payment of Hugo's expenses allowed me immediately to authorise the extensive specialist treatment required if he was to survive. I would if necessary have sold anything I had to get him the treatment he needed, but thanks to Petplan I didn't have to. Hugo (once more a happy and healthy dog who behaves as though he were a quarter of his age) and I are immeasurably grateful. Reviewed on: 16th August 2021
