There's still hope for my finances

I've used Plum for a few years now. Like most millennials I never thought I would be able to afford a house or have significant savings, and now look at me. I still live with my mum, but I invest and stuff. In all seriousness I actually have 5 figure savings now thanks to Plum. I was always financially irresponsible so having an app that automatically saves and invests for me has been a lifesaver. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

Best finance app

I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve recommended this app to everyone my age (20’s). I used to be really bad at saving and tried to get started with investing multiple times in the past but I have always been really bad with money. This gives you such an easy way to get started. I set it up in 2021 and I already have thousands in index funds, savings, and a second pension I never would have had otherwise. My credit score is up, I don’t have as much financial stress and I can’t recommend it enough. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023
