Excellent Customer Service

I purchased a combined Home & Contents Policy from Policy Expert within the last couple of days. I am aware that they have been approved by the 'Plain English Campaign' which is probably to their credit and as a consequence I picked up what seemed to be some conflicting terms. That aside, I can only give absolute credit to Policy Expert for the prompt response I received from my enquiry - and on this occasion they were the ones having problems making contact ha ha. When I called back to the 'claims line' number I was answered promptly, and the call centre staff would not have known the purpose of my call. However I was quickly referred to Ben Bennett who is described as Customer Service Adviser Trinity Claims. I think that I had difficult questions, but Ben, whilst friendly, polite and businesslike quickly grasped the problem I described, reconciled it with the written enquiry I had submitted, and gave me the answer. I am well past retirement age and what was reassuring to me was his patience, confidence and knowledge. Moreover, sensing that I was still unsure, he gave me the answer in writing - perfect! Well done Policy Expert or Trinity Claims, you have a brilliant communicator in Ben, and in simple terms an excellent ambassador for your company! Reviewed on: 14th September 2021
