Review of the Lloyds Bank, Classic Account:

A bank like any other really, having an account with them and TSB, they don't really provide anything particularly interesting to students - they also have very high unplanned overdraft fees, which in an of themselves I don't disagree with, however it doesn't seem sensible to leave them so high on a student acct. I was once charged £15 for an overdraft of £2 which is borderline punitive. In any case, decent bank - could be more attractive to students. Reviewed on: 17th September 2017

Consistently good customer service and easy claims

I am a particularly clumsy individual, and arriving at university I thought it reasonable to get insurance for my phone and laptop - this was a good idea as i have damaged my laptop beyond use twice since the start of my higher education and they have been perfect in repairing or replacing my vital work tool within 3 weeks of the original accident. Their rates are extremely reasonable for students and their service very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for insurance. Reviewed on: 5th September 2017
