Review of the One Call Insurance, Car insurance broker:

Generally good value but I had a no-fault accident and ended up somehow using a no-win-no-fee solicitor when as a fully comprehensive customer I feel Onecall should really have sorted things for me so I got proper compensation.

I had an accident - someone drove into me while waiting at traffic lights - it wrote my car off and the car in front - yet for some reason I never understood I was passed to a no-win-no-fee solicitor and am still awaiting an outcome and the accident was in December 2019. The guy who hit me was off his head and clearly driving dangerously - and then sped off when the lights changed but luckily I guessed he might do that so luckily got his number plate. He then denied he was driving the car - said he was out of the country at the time - and meanwhile I was left in shock with a sore neck and back, my car written off and no sense of really being helped despite having fully comprehensive insurance and have never claimed before. A very depressing situation to end up in and it’s very unfair that when you do need help it doesn’t really seem to be there. The police did nothing - they lost the witness statement and never checked the cctv yet this man was clearly a risk to the public! I feel upset just writing this as it’s been such an awful experience. Reviewed on: 14th September 2021
