Review of the Starling Bank, Business Account:

Starling are a breath of fresh air compared to the large high street bank I have been with for years

Good customer service. Not waiting in endless queues for lack-lustre support. I tried to set up a new business account with a major bank (hsbc) with which I had been an existing business customer for 13 years, but they were extremely difficult to deal with (unresponsive in resolving issues). I set up the business account with Starling instead, where an excellent proactive case manager guided me seamlessly through the process. I intend to see how the first 12 months go with Starling and then switch my existing business and personal accounts from hsbc. They have become impersonal (even at branch level) and I feel that they no longer deserve my business. Reviewed on: 11th January 2022
