StepChange changed my life

I was swimming in debt and not sleeping, had mental health issues due to a number of things including my debt. StepChange helped with a big portion of my mental health issues and I’m sleeping better now! I wouldn’t be where I am without them. Reviewed on: 27th May 2025

A new life

I always dreaded opening letters or answering the phone. I was sinking with no way out. I couldn’t talk to my wife about my debts I felt ashamed by . StepChange changed that and I’m starting to enjoy like again, living in the moment rather than worrying about tomorrow . Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Due to the escalating cost of shopping and energy I found myself using credit for everyday expenses and then struggling to keep up with repayments.
