Safe pair of hands

I was in the fortunate position this year of maxing out my ISA allowance (although with wealthify) and didn't want money sitting around doing nothing in my bank account so opened a general investment plan. I really like the responsible questions to assess my attitude to risk. I probably would have been quite gung-ho and picked the riskiest profile and then regretted it but wealthify knew better and recommended the middle one. Detractors have told me I could be investing myself for much less cost. But I don't have the time or inclination to research and rebalance constantly. So I'm happy to pay someone else to do it for me. I like the app. It tells me just enough to keep me informed without cluttering things up and confusing me. Whenever I've had to speak to an advisor they have been super helpful. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022
