A bank like they all should be

I have a current account and a savings account with Triodos and though I don't use them very frequently I am very happy with what they do and any communications with them. My only slight quibble is I know because they are a Dutch bank and don't use the same financial year as the UK does. This can be a challenge when doing my tax return but they have been more accommodating recently and helped me to calculate what I need to know. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Good but waiting times on the phone are very long.

Waiting times on the phone are very long. Once connected the service is good. In cases of scams and fraud they sort things out quickly and retrieve any lost funds. Reviewed on: 17th January 2024

More ethical than any others.

Properly ethical banking. All excellent except the need to calculate interest January to December because of accounting period not being same as Inland Revenue. Reviewed on: 17th January 2024
