Review of the Snoop, Personal finance app:

Amazing!!!

I’ve been using snoop for little over 4-5 months now, I feel much more aware of my spending habits, I’ve analysed and reviewed my spendings and I’ve even made some goals both short and long term. All of this I must say is not on paper or a spreadsheet yet, simply by having a good “Snoop” around the app and my linked accounts. It can require that you spend some time to get all your emails, letters, log in to your subscription providers, etc to find a few details, then add contract dates (if it hasn’t already automatically figured it out for you), filtering through your transactions to get everything properly categorised, but then it’s an amazingly powerful tool! Reminders when payments are due are easy day-to-day activities in the app to help keep track, while contract renewal dates and best times to change are a good way to start creating your financial goals ( I was hoping to reduce the cost of each at renewal), which ‘Snoop’ made easier by highlighting around 3 weeks before, that it would be cheaper and made it easy to compare prices too! ‘Snoops’ are really useful; suggestions on your spending, other apps that can be useful and another huge range of suggestions on how to help manage, reduce and make the most out of your money. Again, if you take your time to rate your ‘Snoops’ on relevance, etc; it only gets better! I’ve managed to reduce my monthly outgoings by around £250 already, and over the next 12 months I anticipate a further £100 by clearing the last of my debt and changing some direct debits to yearly payment instead.
