Gets the most out of your money for zero effort

Chase have an incredibly slick and cohesive feature set that just works together harmoniously to automatically get the most out of your money without having to do anything extra. When I spend I earn cashback and the change gets rounded up into a 5% instant access savings account which resets annually. And when I don't spend my money earns interest. This approach to banking feels really rather good. No matter what I do, I'm being rewarded in some way. And the customer support when you actually need it is fantastic and really sets them above other banks. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

A completely broken Bank not fit for purpose on iOS.

The app hasn’t worked at all to almost a year. Crashes every time I try to launch it, which makes banking with Monzo impossible. Look elsewhere if you want a bank that actually works. Customer support is either nonexistent, unresponsive, or if they do get back to you, completely unhelpful. Reviewed on: 24th January 2023

Rubbish app and poor customer support.

The Monzo app is forever crashing on my phone and sometimes won’t load at all and has to be reinstalled just to check my account. Customer support is slyly hidden from customers and is made to be as inaccessible possible. Unless you know the correct term to search in the help section it’s impossible to get it in touch. Instead they try to push you towards a community where you’re greeted with aggressive and hostile people representing the bank. The phone line will disconnect you at any opportunity. When you do manage to get in touch via the live chat feature, they are very slow to reply and when they do they don’t read your prior message and are patronising and condescending. I don’t know how they keep winning awards for this. It’s the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The push notifications are nice and when it works the app is one of the better ones.
