Well designed platform & good returns

Well designed platform, easy to open an account & prompt customer service response to enquiries. Daily interest returns are very competitive, with easy access for withdrawals. I've recommended Wombat Invest to a number of friends and family, who all comment on the clarity of the App layout. I also like the ease with which you can transfer funds between other Wombat investment or savings accounts, or apply Round-ups to a Wombat account, as well as monthly Auto-investments. Stocks & Shares ISA: Great UI, fractional share options, unlimited commission free trading

Never had a stocks and shares ISA or previous experience in financial trading. Wombat's app makes this amazingly accessible and affordable. Having previously managed zero years of building up any savings at all, in the space of 18 months, I've now built a healthy five figure sum in my ISA - and still climbing (even in the face of a bumpy trading environment). Excellent App, easy micro trading, competitive charges

I had zero previous experience in fund or shares investment. However, having decided to take the plunge, I did do my research on new investor options available - and in particular, mobile app platforms which could make the process more accessible. Wombat's account setup is straightforward, the account management app is extremely clearly laid out - and most of all, the share and fund options available to investors are explained in plain English. Although the customer service is only available via email, I've found them very responsive. Keeping track of your investment performance is easy via a clean dashboard - but actually one of the best elements of Wombat is what I think are fair platform fees. Unlike competitors, Wombat does NOT charge for each transaction. There is a flat £1 a month fee plus 0.1% per annum on the investments - and as I make many small investments, that actually works out notably cheaper than on competitor platforms, where the transaction fees rack up if you're micro investing.
