Not equipped for Businesses

Starling is not equipped for business, they're great for personal use, or if you're a very new startup. However if you require any services such as loans or overdrafts, which I would consider standard, then Starling is not for you. They do not have a dedicated business team and do not understand business needs. We're still relatively small, turning over 100k, but not having an overdraft facility to handle any unexpected cash flow issues is a worry to me as a business owner. Fortunately, I haven't needed one, but it seems ridiculous to me that they won't offer it. But as a personal customer, I can apply for one.. Avoid Starling and pay for a proper business banking service. Reviewed on: 1st March 2022
