Helpful Banking

4
Have banked with them since I was 16, one of the few accounts that only require a minimum of £500 per month being deposited, which makes it accessible to most people. Branch staff are always really helpful. They also have good online and app banking. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Great Bank

One of the few banks that offer an account with a low minimum pay in each month, I have banked with them for over 40 years and never had a problem, their staff are always polite and helpful too. Unlike many others they also have a lot of high street branches too. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Directly Competitive

I have been with this insurer for 2 years now and also switched my husbands insurance to them. Their renewal quotes are fair, they do not push your costs up astronomically, I shop around just to check but their prices have not been beaten so far. I have never claimed so cannot offer an opinion there but am happily to recommend them for being reasonable at renewals. Reviewed on: 31st July 2023

Easy Experience

Santander only require a minimum deposit of £500 per month to have an account which makes it accessible to most people, they still have many branches on the high street and their staff are always polite and helpful. Both their online and app platforms are easy to use and secure, I have banked with them for over 40 years and never encountered any problems. Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

123 Account for Me

5
This is one of the few bank accounts that don’t require a minimum pay in of over £1,000 needed to open it, making it accessible to those in lower paid occupations. For the monthly fee of £5 you get interest on your balance and cash back on direct debits to utility companies. They also have an offers page where you can earn cash back on certain retailers and popular eating out brands, by choosing the offers you want and using your debit card at them. All in all a good account with rewarding features. Reviewed on: 5th November 2019
