Review of the HSBC Kinetic, Business account:

After a very difficult sign up process, including the requirmenet for proof of the source of funds (the £1 I used to open the account) I realised that while the usual HSBC Business account could connect with my accounting platform, the new Kinetic account could not. I asked if they could switch me to the standard business account but they said no. I tried to close the account, and had to print off a form, complete and post it...to find out that there was something missing in the paperwork. I called their customer services line and whilst on hold for an eternity I managed to open a new business account with Tide - very straight forward and simple. Reviewed on: 11th March 2022
